Little Hats, Big Hearts II

I am sure you have all be wondering: Did she really make the hats? And the answer is yes! I made seven hats and shipped them off to my local chapter of the American Heart Association today to be distributed to babies born in February.

A little back-story on the pattern: I searched high and low on Ravelry for the perfect pattern and came up with this Baby Beanie Hat by Judith Carter. I wanted to knit it in the round to avoid a seam that might irritate Baby's head, so that was a bit of a challenge since the pattern is written for flat knitting. But my double-pointed needles and I are now the best of friends, and I am on to knitting socks, thanks to my knitting muse and yarn patron, Liz.

I shall keep you informed...
