The Christmas List

No, I'm not making my list just yet. It's the title of Richard Paul Evans' new novel, out Tuesday. I've enjoyed Evans' heartwarming books for years, and yesterday at the first annual Missouri Literary Festival, I got to hear him speak about his life and writing. Pretty decent consolation for having missed the Billy Collins poetry reading because I was taking the GRE. (In case anyone wonders, there is life after the GRE.)

Jami is giving away a copy of The Christmas List at her blog, Not Over-Taxing the Mind. If you're an RPE fan, too, go enter the drawing!

Thank you for the posting! You got to hear RPE speak? How amazing that must've been! He's been to my hometown - AFTER I moved away and hasn't been any place I've been since. Do you mind if I follow your blog? You are an excellent writer and I love reading someone who knows what they're talking about. :)

It was a lovely to hear Evans speak about his writing and motivation for life. I wish you could have been there, too!

Please do follow my blog; the more readers I have the greater my impetus to write. I need the accountability!
