Of course, if I had my druthers, I'd be globetrotting this summer, as some of my friends are doing (not naming any names; you know who you are!). But since I am at home, the simple pleasure of letterwriting makes a nice escape, especially when friends write from where they are in the world. Here are some of my windows to the outside. There are postcards from Holland, Belgium, Ireland, various locations in England--Windsor, London, Oxford, and Stratford-Upon-Avon. There are letters and cards from the west coast of the U.S., the heartland, and to as far east as Tennessee. Am I not vicariously well-traveled?
