Tea at Miss Rosemarie's

Today, Mrs. Chancey took Belle and Felicity and me to tea at Miss Rosemarie's. We donned our Regency gowns for the occasion.

Before we ordered, we got to try the tea blend of the day: cranberry orange, which was very good. "Remember when you stir your tea not to let the spoon clink against the cup."

We began with exquisite almond apricot scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam and lemon curd. For the girls, macaroni and cheese with fruit was just the thing. Mrs. Chancey and I selected tomato soup, tomato bacon quiche and salad.
