How to Have a Happy Easter

Katie and I have been planning our trip to her family's small farm in Tennessee since last fall. Early Friday morning, it was finally time to go! We packed my car the night before and got on the road before dawn.

Nine hours later, we arrived, and this is what home looks like:

On Easter, we drove to downtown Franklin for the 9:30 service at Parish Presbyterian Church. The church building was built in 1849. The service was beautiful and incorporated some beautiful hymns and responsive readings that were centered on Psalm 115.
