It is important, I've found, as I resettle into a routine at school, amidst the bustle of student life, to find a piece of quiet. I love spending time with my friends; it seems almost incomprehensible that I have so many potentially good friends when I languished for years without many friends at all. But I find, as pleasureable and necessary to my well-being as having friends is, I must also have time to think, and pray, and read things that restore a part of the soul that is starved by companionship but nurtured in solitude.
